Our viking heritage
How is it possible to incorporate our Viking heritage into a modern brand and distillery?(ONGOING PROJECT)
Bivrost consists of two ancient norse words: “Biv”, which means “Shaking”, and “Rost”, which means “Road” or “Path”. It is considered to be the Viking word for describing the Northern Lights. Our viking ancestors thought it was a magical bridge between Midgard and Asgard.
When building our brand we also thought it important to incorporate norse, viking elements to our brand and Whisky distillery. This has been a long, ongoing process which is far from finished.
